MXGP unveiled 2023 calendar with a big news

The MXGP World Motocross Championship calendar for next season is now known. With two rounds still to be defined, it is already known that Vietnam is the biggest novelty among the 20 rounds.

The start of the season is set for Villa la Angostura on March 12 with the MXGP of Patagonia Argentina, with only the MXGP and MX2 World Championships – as well as the second round on March 26, which is therefore likely to be outside Europe, although the venue is not yet known. The European debut will be on April 8-10, also in a country yet to be announced.

Then follows the first passage of the year in Italy in Pietramurata on 16 April and on 30 April it is the turn of Águeda with the MXGP of Portugal. From then on, the season takes place mainly in Europe, with four exceptions.

The first two are on June 25 and July 2 with double stints in Indonesia – first in Sumbawa and then Lombok. On September 17, Thanh Hoa marks the Vietnam debut and on October 1 there is an unannounced round outside Europe. The season closes on October 15 at Matterley Basin with the MXGP of Great Britain.

One week later is the Motocross of Nations in Ernée (France). The Motocross of European is on October 8 at a venue yet to be announced, while July 9 is the Junior World Championship in Bucharest (Romania).
