Sports cars are motorized vehicles, either combustion or electrically powered, that are engineered to deliver superior driving dynamics through enhanced handling and performance. Some people mistakably consider all road going “sports cars” to be the same, when in fact there are four distinct categories: Sports Car, High-Performance Sports Car, Supercar, and Hypercar. 

The four types of sports cars are defined by performance, materials, exclusivity, and price.

SPORTS CARS

The performance envelope of a sports car exceeds that of typical passenger vehicles. Most are constructed of traditional building materials such as steel and aluminum to
