Five tech trends from the Tour de France | What defines a Tour race bike in 2022?

We recently spent a couple of days in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the Grand Depart of the 2022 Tour de France, hassling team mechanics and press contacts for access to the latest and greatest pro bikes.

As the sport evolves, so do the bikes, and there are always some distinct trends to bikes at the Tour, if you look carefully.

With that in mind, here are the top five tech trends we spotted at the 2022 Tour de France.

Lynyrd Skynyrd Add More U.S. Dates to 2022 Tour

Lynyrd Skynyrd have added 13 more dates to their 2022 Big Wheels Keep on Turnin’ Tour.

People enjoy riding their bikes during a past Wheeling Heritage Trail Bicycle Tour. This year’s 15th annual tour is set for May 30.

WHEELING – The 15th annual Wheeling Heritage Trail Bicycle Tour is slated for May 30 at Heritage Port.

The family-friendly event offers a variety of bike tours depending on how challenging a ride one wants to take. The 100 kilometer race, which is about 62 miles, begins at 8 a.m. and takes riders through the downtown, Elm Grove, Warwood, Brooke County, to the Pennsylvania state line and back again to Heritage Port.
